City of Bedford Code Enforcement Hotline

The City has asked that we report potential code and ordinance violations to them using their hotline. The phone number is 817-459-8970. When leaving a message, you will need to leave an address where you suspect the violation is. When they get the message, they will send a letter to that address saying that they learned of a potential violation. Included with the letter will be the relevant codes or ordinances, so that the recipient can see what the requirements are and take the necessary actions. Thanks for your help in keeping River Forest - and Bedford - a great place to live.

Past Due Residents

It was unanimously approved at the Annual Meeting that the names of the past due residents are to be posted. They are:

1. Tom Engle (2409 Oak Brook) has not paid 2006 - 2009.

2. Jose Diaz & Carmen Concepcion (2724 Willow Creek) have not paid 2008 or 2009.

3. John Mazurek (2728 Willow Creek) has not paid 2008 or 2009.

The Community Services division of the Bedford Police Department, as part of their PACE (Police Alerting Citizines by Email) program, sent out an interesting article that they received from the Keller Police. If you keep electronics in your car (GPS, garage door opener, cell phone, etc.), you might want to read it and perhaps think twice.
